Nineteen suspects have been arrested and nearly 1,000 tickets have been confiscated1 by the Beijing railway police since Sept. 1. 從9月1日開始，19名嫌疑人唄北京鐵路警方逮捕，近1000張車票被沒收。 In a single case, a total of 578 tickets were hoarded2 by one suspect and later confiscated. The suspect had planned to sell the tickets at a higher price to holiday passengers. The campaign launched on Sept. 1 will last 40 days until Oct. 10, during which the police will put train stations and surrounding areas under closer surveillance. Ticket scalping and counterfeiting3 are major problems around public holidays as the demand for tickets is high.
